To date, this stands as the first and only "stumper" of the WWTMM series, as not one correct response was given as to the Phoenix's identity. In retrospect, it wasn't really a fair question. You see, "the Phoenix" never made an in-ring appearance anywhere. It was simply the creation of a young Canadian who, fresh out of training at the Hart Dungeon, took photos of himself in several different personas to send to the major wrestling promotions. One of the personas was this getup, apparently inspired by the Canadian Mardi Gras or some such. It didn't get him a spot in any fed, at any rate, but he eventually worked in Japan's FMW, and later ECW, WCW, and now the WWF, unmasked and under a more marketable moniker..."the Lionheart", "the Millenium Man", "the Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rolla"...Chris Jericho.
